How long does the process take to obtain the license?
A. This is up to you, the time to provide the documentation for application and proof of experience and to prepare for the exams the TCA takes 5 to 7 business days to answer an application and the proof of experience has taken two days maximum to be approved.
Can I apply for more than one rating?
A. As long as your documentation and experience apply, yes. But first we apply to one rating and then add the other.
What is the deadline for completing the process?
A. To take the exams, as long as the authorization was issued between September 1, 2020 and July 31, 2022, you will have 24 months to take the exams. From August 1, 2022 you will have 12 months to take the exams and once you submit your proof of experience, you will have another 12 months to take the CARs
What license rating is required for line maintenance?
A. AME M2.
What is included in the consultancy?
A. Full support for you to get your license according to the type of advisory contracted.
What are the costs beyond advice?
A. Translation, copies of your documentation and fees for exams and license issue.
What are the licenses ratings in Canada?
A. AME M (Mechanic), AME S (Structure) and AME E (Avionics).
Which license should/can I apply for?
A. Depends on your education and experience.
Can I apply for more than one rating to my licence?
A. Yes, you can. As long as you have the required documentation and experience for the second rating.
Can I take all exams including CARs in one trip?
A. Yes, you can! If you desire to do this, we set up a action plan for you to make this happen.
I can take the exams and technical exams in any order?
A. You are the boss! You decides the order of the technical exams you prefer to follow.
How many years of experience are required to obtain the license?
A. At least 48 months.
Does workshop experience counts?
A. Yes, It does. However, the TCA considers only 6 months of your total experience in the same workshop.
Does the FAA or EASA license makes the process easy?
A. No, does not. The TCA does not consider any kind of license in this process.
Do I need to have some license to start the process?
A. The TCA does not consider any kind of license in this process.
What happens if I miss the authorization expiration date??
A. A new application must be done.
Is there any possibility that I won’t be approved??

Do you provide study material?
A. By hiring the advisory, you will have access to our digital library with the right materials and bank tests. We do not sell or distribute books or provide any copies of the materials of any kind.
If I fail an exam, when can I take it again??
A. If you fail the exam, you can retake it after 30 days. In case you fail on the second attempt, you can retake it only after six months and if you fail on the third attempt, you can retake the exam again after six months and so on.
What is the validity period of the license?
A. 10 years.
